woodridge apartments
Does anyone currently live in Wood Ridge Apartments on burton drive? Or, has anyone recently (in the past few months) lived there? I'm trying to get a feel for the place before tomorrow. Too few people give feedback online, so you end up hearing from only a few people every year. So more info would really help. Thanks! |

UT Women's basketball tonight
Hey, my wife isn't feeling up to going to the game tonight, so I have an extra ticket. It's just a general admission ticket, and I only paid $2 for it, so does anyone want a cheap ticket for tonight? blast from the past
As I was cleaning the spare bedroom I came across the letters I wrote home from boot camp. I just busted up laughing when I read our little ditties for the rifle range. So when we broke ranks to eat chow we had to say this little dittie (it was to fuck with the male platoons there...our di was the coolest!) Devil Dogs, Shock Troops Blood sucking war maching ready to fight, ready to kill ready to die but never will Marines make the blood flow, blood makes the grass grow Semper Fi, do or die 1234 United States Marine Corps hehe and then we did this one when we sit down for rifle class shoot em with your right hand squarely in the chest put em in your alice pack if there's any left United States marine corps blood and guts, blood and gore 4029 are you ready to go to war oh the memories...I miss boot camp and my platoonmates Current Mood:  nostalgic |

you've voted...now what?
I know everyone in the country is nervous about the election, but even though voting ends today, there is still something you can do. Focus your thoughts on the outcome you desire. And not just 'no more bush', as that leaves things too open ended. That could bring about W choking to death and cheney as president, and that's certainly no better! But think things like "president kerry' or something similar. Keep it simple, but specific, and keep it as your mantra until this is resolved. Of course I'm assuming everyone who reads this is anti-bush, but whatever works for you. Out thoughts truly create our reality, not in an abstract way, but directly. So keep your thoughts on what you want, not on your fears or all you will bring about is your fear. Think positive! Current Mood: determined |
